DCL-EDSO

DCL and EDSO Football Technical Officer, Andrew Scolding, who acts on behalf of EDSO, had a meeting on Saturday 20^th October in London to discuss several issues in related to European Deaf Football Clubs.

It was the time for both parties’ wishes after DCL had work and managed to organize five consecutive tournaments for champions of European countries in football over the last 5 years. In view of increasing interest of DCL events and with the support of the EDSO, has taken a further step to improve the quality and standard of European football.

The main feature of the meeting was the approval of the proposals previously studied by DCL and EDSO on DCL Constitution and Regulations, which will be verify by the EDSO Legal Commission. We understand that these two documents are important to ensure the development of DCL´s events. It will be distribute to all EDSO Member in December for their information.

DCL is grateful for the small financial support from the UEFA Development fund in EDSO account to DCL for the internal functioning of the DCL and in their work with a view of 6^th DCL event that will be taken place in London from April 11^th to 14^th April, 2013.

It is necessary to emphasize that the incorporation of the EDSO Football representative into DCL committee is to follow up of the DCL events as part of the agreement between DCL and EDSO.

During November, the information will be publish in relate to the participation of VI DCL 2013.
